BIZARRE!! Killed for a loaf of BREADin KISII Saturday, August 25, 2012 - A man from Ramba village, south Mugirango was allegedlykilled by his friend as they fought over a loafof bread. The man is claimed to have lost hisfriend’s loaf of bread at a chang’aa denleading to a fight that caused his death. According to witnesses the two friends werewalking home when they decided to visit achang’aa den and drink a glass of the lethalbrew before they headed home. Apparentlyhis friend had bought a loaf of bread andgave his friend to carry it for him. George Momanyi Ogoti is said to have beenaccosted by the children of mama pima who forced him to part with the loaf of bread andsince he was too drank to reason he let gothe bread and continued making merry. When the two friends were walking homehis friend demanded for his loaf of bread butwhen Ogoti failed to deliver the loaf of breadhe beat and hit him on the head killing himinstantly. Residents rushed the man to hospital wherehe was announced dead on arrival. His friend was arrested and will be arraignedin court next week. The Kenyan DAILY POST
