Some lecturers at the University of Jos, Plateau State, have just sent a petition to the Mass Communications Department to warn their students for provocative but indecent dress sense. This wass made known by Head of the Department of Mass Comm, Christiana Best who inform the students for the need to introduce corporate dressing. She said the idea to introduce corporate dress for the students in the department followed complaints by some lecturers that the students’ indecent dressing distracts their attention during lectures. Ms. Best said on Wednesday in Jos that the move is aimed at promoting decency among the students. NCP Hopes other universities can follow suit.
